The Malahat is closed in both directions Saturday evening due to a vehicle incident between Shawnigan Lake and Shawnigan-Mill Bay roads.
The crash occurred just before 7 p.m. August 3rd in the Bamberton area.
According to witnesses, a tanker, an RV and an SUV were involved in the collision. At least six ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
A detour is in place,however, motorists should expect significant delays.
