Share

As of July 1st, seasonal changes to certain BC Transit routes will take effect in the Victoria region to match demand.

To match the increase in foot traffic over the summer months, trips will be added to Route 70 Swartz Bay/Downtown—which includes additional southbound express trips that bypass Sidney.

Additionally, the pick-up times on following routes will be slightly adjusted to improve reliability and timing connections:

  • 46 Dockyard/Westhills
  • 52 Colwood Exch/Bear Mountain
  • 63 Otter Point
  • 64 Langford Exch/Sooke via E Sooke and Beecher Bay
  • 75 Saanichton/Royal Oak/Downtown
  • 87 Saanichton/Sidney via Dean Park
  • 88 Airport/Sidney

To match the seasonal demands of BC Transit users, minor adjustments have been made to the following routes:

  • 6 Royal Oak Exch/Downtown
  • 14 Vic General/UVic
  • 61 Sooke/Langford/Downtown
  • 65 Sooke/Downtown via Westhills
  • 95 Langford/Downtown Blink

Plus, as the school year wraps, trip routes that serve kindergarten to Grade 12 school times will be removed until next school year.

Route 17 will be discontinued for the summer months and return in the fall.
