A motorcyclist has died after a two-vehicle collision early Thursday morning in the Highlands.
In a media release, West Shore RCMP said they were called to the incident on Millstream Road near Stewart Mountain Road around 7:30 a.m. The collision involved an SUV and motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The SUV driver was not seriously hurt.
The incident shut down a section of Millstream Road to traffic until 12:20 p.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
