After three days of rare winter conditions in Greater Victoria, more snow is being predicted for the region over the weekend with cold temperatures persisting through next week.
According to Environment Canada, there is a chance of light flurries through the day on Thursday, February 6th.
The high on Thursday is predicted to be around only 2°C, but with the wind chill it will feel more like -7°C. The overnight low will be around -3°C in Victoria.
On Friday, no snow is in the forecast, but conditions will be cloudy. The high on Friday is predicted to be around 2°C, but wind chill will make the weather feel more like -8°C.
From Friday night through until Sunday afternoon, there is a 60% chance of snow flurries in Greater Victoria.
Saturday will be the warmest day of the weekend with a high of 4°C; however, temperatures are still expected to drop down to 0°C overnight.
Sunday’s high is expected to be 3°C, with an overnight low of -2°C.
Next week, Greater Victoria will get a reprieve from the snow, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be warm.
Monday and Tuesday are both forecasted to be sunny, with highs of 3°C. Overnight lows early next week are expected to get as low as -6°C.
Wednesday has some clouds in the forecast, but is still expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 3°C.
