VicPD are asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing teenager Karim who is considered to be “high-risk.”

Karim was reported missing on Wednesday, June 3rd, after failing to return home from school in Victoria.

Police added that he has not contacted his family since his disappearance, which is out of character for him.

VicPD describe Karim as standing 4’8” tall, with a slim build, dark skin and Afro-style black hair. He was reportedly last seen wearing a black hoodie with a red design and black pants.

According to police, a missing person is considered high-risk if their health or well-being is thought to be in immediate danger.

VicPD assesses risk by considering their vulnerability, any medical needs, if the disappearance is suspicious or out of character, if they could be exposed to extreme adverse weather or if they are a part of a demographic that faces heightened inherent risk.

Anyone with information on Karim’s whereabouts should contact VicPD at (250) 995-7654,  referencing file number 26-22402.
