Get ready, Vancouver Island!
Victoria has officially been added to the Canadian Forces Snowbirds’ 2025 schedule, with the iconic aerobatics team set to soar over the city this summer.
The flyover is scheduled for Tuesday, July 22nd, and while it won’t be a full aerobatic airshow, the team promises a stunning non-aerobatic display featuring their trademark nine-jet formation.

The Snowbirds announced the addition on social media, encouraging locals to “scope out your favourite vantage point” and prepare to look up as the team slices across the Victoria skyline.
It’s the latest Vancouver Island appearance on their growing summer tour, which kicked off with training flights from 19 Wing Comox throughout May.
The Comox base served as the team’s spring home as they ramped up for the season, flying up to three times a day, depending on weather and operations.
Originally, the team’s only scheduled Vancouver Island performance was a full show in Nanaimo on May 24th’ however, it has since been rescheduled to August 15th and 16th.
More details about the Victoria flyover, including specific timing and flight paths, are expected to be announced closer to the date.
In the meantime, residents are encouraged to get their cameras ready and follow the Canadian Forces Snowbirds on Facebook for updates.
This marks a rare treat for Victoria, as flyovers by the Snowbirds are typically limited to select cities each year.
