Get ready to look up, Comox—Canada’s iconic Snowbirds are returning next month!
From May 3rd to 24th, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds will be calling 19 Wing Comox their home base as they gear up for their upcoming air show season.
Expect to catch these legendary jets soaring through the skies as the team ramps up training for the season ahead.
The Snowbirds are scheduled to fly up to three times a day: typically once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and possibly a third time if needed.
That said, don’t expect a play-by-play on social media. Flight times won’t be posted online, as training is weather- and operations-dependent and can change at a moment’s notice.
Their arrival and departure dates from 19 Wing Comox are currently slated for May 2nd and 25th, so mark your calendars and keep your eyes peeled!
According to a recent Facebook post by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, their full Snowbird show in Nanaimo—originally listed on their website for May 24th—has now been rescheduled to take place on August 15th and 16th.
