Oak Bay Police (OBPD) are investigating after eight vehicles were vandalized in the overnight hours this past weekend.
According to a media release, the cars were “keyed,” causing significant damage to their exteriors on Sunday, October 20th.
The incidents occurred along the 1200, 1500, and 1600 blocks of Monterey Avenue.
Police believe that a lone suspect is responsible for the acts, although they have yet to obtain a clear description of the individual.
OBPD investigators are actively searching for CCTV footage and witnesses to assist with the investigation.
Police noted that this string of vandalism is one of 51 calls for service they responded to between October 14th and October 20th.
