According to BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC) someone in BC bought the winning ticket for a $58 million Lotto 6-49 jackpot and won.
The only problem is they have yet to come forward and claim their winnings.
BCLC says that they are unable to know the exact location in the province because the winning ticket was purchased online through PlayNow.com.
This $58 million jackpot is the largest in BC’s history for a ticket that was purchased through PlayNow.com
The winning jackpot numbers on this unclaimed ticket are: 18041531-05.
The last PlayNow.com winner was announced in late February. On that winning ticket, another person in BC won $18-million from playing online.
The lucky mystery winner will have 52 weeks, or one year from the draw date printed on the ticket to claim their prize, according to BCLC.
Once the winner has come forward, BCLC will publicly announce who they are and where they are living, along with their plans for their newfound fortune.
In 2023 alone, BC lottery players have won over $120 million.
