Hey Mahoney lovers, have you heard the news?
Floyd’s Diner has officially announced the opening of another new location at Gorge Road East’s Vic Hotel (formerly Travelodge and Ramada hotels) in the Burnside Gorge neighbourhood.
And although they don’t have a specific date locked, they confirmed with Victoria Buzz that they’re aiming for sometime in February!
The East Vic Hotel has undergone some serious renovations and Floyd’s is thrilled to be a part of this new chapter for them.
“Evergreen Hospitality Group has done an amazing job revitalizing this hotel,” said Michelle Boyd, Director of Operations at Floyd’s.
“We also saw a fabulous opportunity to be on the Gorge, and with the expansive builds happening in the area, we know there will be a large customer base to build from!”
Floyd’s Diner has been a staple in Victoria since 2004—owner Petr Prusa had a vision filled with diner style brunches, family-friendly and fun atmosphere, as well as generous offerings, and decided to bring it to life.
Since then, Floyd’s has expanded across Greater Victoria and can be enjoyed in numerous different locations including West Saanich, James Bay, and Langford!
The addition of this new location will mark five total Floyd Diners in the city.
As a wonderful and fun gathering place, you can bring your family and friends to enjoy a wide variety of menu items such as classic breakfast items, milkshakes, burgers, poutine, and more.
There’s even a kids menu that’s specially catered to the youngins!
