Happy Thursday, Victoria!
While we’ve had a hot week in Victoria, there are some very cool events going on to keep your mind off the heat.
Get out to Willows Beach Park or the Westshore Town Centre and enjoy some live music, or support BC Special Olympic athletes at the Fernwood Inn while playing some music bingo!
It’s also free gallery day at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria and the Talent Show Social is on at the Roxy Theatre.
Whatever you’re after, there’s something for everyone this Thursday in the city.

Michel Rivero at the Westshore Town Centre Summer Music Series
The Westshore Town Centre’s Summer Music Series is here!
This will be the third of the series, with Michel Rivero on the stage. Rivero is a singer-songwriter with Afro-Cuban influences in his music.
These events are going to be happening every Thursday evening at the Westshore Town Centre, on the pathway behind the RBC.
Soak up some summer atmosphere and grab some take-out from one of the many local restaurants!
These events are free and everyone is welcome to attend.

Special Olympics BC Music Bingo at the Fernwood Inn
Head down to the Fernwood Inn for an evening of Music Bingo in support of Special Olympics BC!
Enjoy great music, prizes and plenty of fun while helping local athletes participate in sport, competition and community programs.
All proceeds will help Victoria athletes attend competitions, including Provincial and National games.
Tickets are $15 for athletes and $25 for family, friends and supporters. Purchase yours here.

Free Gallery Day at Art Gallery of Greater Victoria
‘Feel Free’ to join the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria and discover wonderful artworks, exhibitions and programs!
Every Thursday evening from 5 pm to 9 pm are Free Gallery Days at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria (AGGV).
Residents of Greater Victoria and visitors to the region can visit the gallery at no charge, along with family and friends from now until September.

Talent Show Social at the Roxy Theatre
The Roxy’s Talent Show Social is back: and the stage is calling!

Groove Circus at Oak Bay Summer Concerts in the Park
Experience unforgettable summer nights at Willows Beach, where live music, ocean views and community spirit come together!
This week, Groover Circus takes to the stage.
Josh Warren’s Groove Circus is an eclectic and rambunctious project drawing influences from funk, hip-hop, modern jazz and more.
The Teighan Couch Trio will be opening. Teighan is a dynamic jazz vocalist and composer based on Vancouver Island, celebrated for her warm tone, agile bebop scat and honest, unvarnished storytelling.
These concerts are free and everyone is welcome to attend.
