In case you missed the first car show at Mayfair, car enthusiasts have another chance this weekend.
After a successful show on the rooftop of the Mayfair Shopping Centre in May, Victoria’s Light’EmUp.TV is returning to the space this weekend with another unique take on these growing events.
The After Dark Rooftop Car Show will take place on the Mayfair Shopping Centre roof on Saturday, June 27th from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Featuring a live DJ, an LED booths, a light show provided by LIT productions, live performances and a glow-in-the-dark lounge, this event aims to blend the popular old school graffiti nights and Tokyo Drift aesthetics.
Vehicles and vendors will feature light displays, with trophies going to the best displays.
The shows have been gaining popularity over the last two years since their inception, and this first-of-its-kind event in Victoria aims to appeal to a different crowd than the daytime shows.
While the event is still family-friendly, the after dark style hopes to bring in more people in the 20-to-30 age range.
Organizers say the show is also pet-friendly, but owners are encouraged to pick up after their pets.
