HarbourCats Home Opener at Royal Athletic Park
The HarbourCats will start their home opener the same way they finished the 2025 season—with a game against the Edmonton Riverhawks!
The ‘Cats and ‘Hawks ended last season with seven games in a row against each other, including an exciting three-game Division Playoff that ultimately was decided by just a single run. Join in as the ‘Cats look to exact their revenge on our Alberta rivals.

One Act Play Festival at the Belfry Theatre
The Belfry Theatre is hosting the 4th annual One Act Play Festival, showcasing one act plays written and directed by local talent.
Tuesday’s features are Up Your Game by Peter Campbell and The Risotto is Burning by Sophie Underwood.

Thinking Outside the “Box” – Impacts of Container Ships Presentation at Royal Victoria Yacht Club
Head down to the Royal Victoria Yacht Club as they host two presenters—Dr. Hauke Blanken and Dr. Cathryn Murray—who will discuss the impacts of container ships on the ocean ecosystem.
This event is one of many happening around the city for Ocean Week.
No registration is needed and everyone is welcome to attend.

How to Train Your Glider: adventures with underwater robots at the Royal BC Museum
“Training” ocean gliders to navigate thousands of kilometres of swirling currents takes skill, creativity and tenacity.
Join in for a behind‑the‑scenes look at how scientists program, pilot and troubleshoot these remarkable robots as they track marine heatwaves, map eddies and monitor the health of BC’s coastal waters.
A fun, interactive introduction to the future of ocean observing.
Learn about this and much more during a 45-minute presentation at the Royal BC Museum.
Presented by Tetjana Ross from the Institute of Ocean Sciences.

Kennel Club Karaoke with Henrietta Dubét at the Vicious Poodle
Head down to the Vicious Poodle for a weekly Karaoke night, hosted by Henrietta Dubét.
These karaoke nights are always a riot.
The event is free to attend, just make sure you support the venue by purchasing drinks and tipping your servers!
