On Thursday, August 13th, DQ locations across Canada will be donating 100% of net proceeds from every Blizzard sold to local children’s hospital foundations for Miracle Treat Day.
Miracle Treat Day has taken place for over 24 years, giving back to sick children in communities across the country.
To date, it has raised over $58 million for children’s charities.
In BC, Miracle Treat Day supports the BC Children’s Hospital to provide much-needed funding and support, and works with the Children’s Miracle Network through ongoing fundraising initiatives.
Apart from Miracle Treat Day, DQ Canada has worked with the Children’s Miracle Network for over 41 years, and supports the network through year-round fund-raising efforts.
Those to choose to support are encouraged to take a photo with their Blizzard and use the hashtag #MiracleTreatDay and tag Dairy Queen and the Children’s Miracle Network on Facebook and Instagram to spread the word.
In the heat of summer, when every dollar goes towards supporting local children in need, a Blizzard has never felt so good.
