Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects following an early morning break-in at a Duncan beauty salon.
According to the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP, officers responded to a commercial alarm at Bloom Beauty Salon on First Street at approximately 5:27 a.m. on Saturday, July 25th.
When officers arrived, they found the front door lock had been broken and cleared the business.
Investigators say surveillance footage shows two suspects forcing their way through the salon’s front door before entering the rear of the business and stealing cash from the cash register.
The first suspect is described as having a slim build and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, black shoes with reflective material and a black backpack with reflective straps.
The second suspect is described as having a medium build and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black baggy pants, red shoes, blue gloves and a black backpack.
Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information about the break-in to contact the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at (250) 748-5522.
