Thank goodness it’s Friday, Victoria!

June is upon us, and there’s always something happening in the city.

Making decisions about what to do can be hard—luckily, we’ve compiled a list of our favourite things happening in the city so you don’t have to look too hard.

Whether you want to get your dance on to some 80s bangers or catch some improv theatre at theatre SKAM, there’s something going on for everyone!

Candlelight Concerts Tribute to ABBA and more at St. Ann’s Academy

Catch a concert where musicians are surrounded by candlelight!

Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Victoria.

Get your tickets now to discover the music of Queen versus ABBA at St. Ann’s Academy and Auditorium National Historic Site under the gentle glow of candlelight.

80s Dance Party at Capital Ballroom

Head down to the Capital Ballroom for an 80s dance night!

Dress up in your brightest neon and biggest hair and dance the night away to all your favourite 80s hits.

DJ Brian St. Clair will be spinning ABBA, Madonna, Prince, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and more all night long.

Oogle Boogle Pub Crawl with LampPost Social

Join in on LampPost Social’s tri-annual Oogle Boogle Pub Crawl!

With more than 200 attendees, a free after-party cover and exclusive discounts, these nights are a blast.

Theatresports: Competitive Improv Comedy at Theatre SKAM

Theatresports is competitive improv comedy at its best!

Join some of Victoria’s best improvisers as they go head-to-head in hilarious improv contests where the audience decides the winner.

The spring 2026 season of Theatresports is directed by Claire Pollock.

Horny Jazz with Heather Ferguson at the Coda

Heather Ferguson and her band double down on the horns all as they go back to basics—with smoulder, cool interpretations of jazz standards.

The art of the ballad, vocalese and original work that draws directly from jazz greats.

Joining Heather are all the regular reprobates Dr Tony Genge, Peter Dowse, Kelby MacNayr, with Barrie Sorensen on sax and Miguelito Valdes on trumpet and congas.

South African trumpet Muneeb Hermans is in town too, so they’ll be doubling down on the horns!
