A beloved neighbourhood tradition is returning to Victoria just in time for Mother’s Day weekend, bringing a full day of free, family-friendly fun to the community.

Hosted by the Quadra Village Community Centre, Quadra Village Day takes place on May 9th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., inviting residents to come together and celebrate everything that makes the area special.

The day kicks off with a free pancake breakfast, along with snacks and coffee, before transitioning into a lively lineup of entertainment and activities.

Attendees can enjoy live music and cultural performances throughout the day, featuring a diverse mix of local talent including mariachi, folk, dance and taiko drumming.

There will be no shortage of things to do for families, with interactive art, plant potting, henna and face painting, carnival games, inflatables and community booths all part of the festivities.

With more than 100 volunteers helping bring the event to life each year, Quadra Village Day continues to be a strong reflection of the neighbourhood’s community spirit.

Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast or staying for the performances, the event offers a welcoming space to connect with neighbours and kick off the weekend on a high note.
