We’ve got some exciting news for Canadian music fans!
In case you missed it, Our Lady Peace is set to headline this year’s Great Canadian Bash music festival at Starlight Stadium on Saturday, June 27th.
This event is the ultimate way to kick off the summer and start your Canada Day celebrations early with the whole family.
The festival is more than just a music show, offering a full summer festival experience.
The day begins at 3 p.m. with the Great Canadian Cookout, featuring a live DJ set and a variety of BBQ offerings made with Canadian-raised ingredients including hearty meals, traditional sausages, and slow-cooked specialities from local food trucks.
It is a family-friendly event where kids are welcome, so bring the whole crew down to soak up the sun and enjoy the local vibes.
The lineup celebrates the best of Canadian rock, blending new talent with the nostalgic anthems we’ve loved for decades.
Vancouver Island’s very own Darrian Gerard will take the stage at 4:30 p.m., followed by Victoria-based duo Cold Fame.
At 7 p.m., the legendary The Tea Party will begin their set, before the iconic, multi-platinum-selling Our Lady Peace closes out the night at 8:45 p.m. with the hits that defined a generation.
Sticking with the theme, organizers are encouraging attendees to dress in their best Canadian outfits. Whether it’s red and white or the classic Great Canadian Tuxedo, make sure you’re representing Canada.
Plus, you can feel good about your fun: $2.50 from every ticket goes to the Re-Wired Foundation to support addiction recovery in our community.
