Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell: The Untold Love Story immerses audiences in the passionate but brief romance the iconic duo shared that shaped their songs, their lives and music history.
It was 1967 at the Newport Folk Festival when the pair began an intense love affair that lasted only a few months but resulted in the inspiration for some of the most celebrated songs ever written.
The performance will explore what happened during their time living together in California at the height of folk music’s popularity, falling in and out of love and then moving on to become two of the most influential songwriters and storytellers of all time.
It’s a look at a romantic and creative relationship never before explored on stage.
The show features singer, songwriter, musician and actress Dana Wylie, who the renowned folk music magazine Penguin Eggs called the only artist whom they have “felt comfortable comparing to Joni Mitchell in the scope of her talent EVER” and singer, songwriter and poet Joe Nolan who was named by The Globe and Mail as “an Americana wunderkind to look out for.”
The artists, who have won numerous awards, are inspired, influenced and uplifted by Leonard and Joni and bring their love and passion for the icons to each performance.

Mouthfull 2 at Intrepid Theatre
Ket Bush and Vivian Vanderpuss return with a brand new series of drag experiments for Mouthfull 2!
Mouthfull is a drag-theatre show that isolates one core element of drag—and dials it to 100, back down to zero, turns it inside out, and asks about its relationship with its mother.
In Mouthfull’s sold-out first edition (OUTstages 2025, Drag is Art 2025), Ket and Vivian played with the drag tenet of lip syncing.
What does it mean to hold other people’s words in your mouth? What if there are too many to hold? And what happens when the words run out?
The girls have been furiously bumping brain cells ever since, and are back with new questions in Mouthfull 2.
Ket & Vivian are now expanding their minds beyond their faces in a quest for their Ultimate Drag Bodies. Who are they wearing? What are they embodying? Where exactly in their bodies is Cher hiding? When did their heads get so huge? And what if they never stop growing?
Limber up for a drag show stretched past the limits of reason!
Tickets for the show are $29.50 and can be purchased here.
- Where: Intrepid Theatre, 1609 Blanshard Street
