Tim Hortons offering refunds for thousands of recalled donut mugs

Share

Heads up, Tim Horton fans!

The company’s pink and white colour changing donut mug has been recalled due to a burn hazard reported earlier this month.

The affected product is a 16-ounce white ceramic mug with a pink interior and handle, featuring a donut design on the front and back that changes when warm liquid is poured in.

When filled, the chocolate dip donut transforms into one of four designs: Vanilla Dip, Honey Cruller, Maple Butter Glaze and Honey Dip.

The mug was available for purchase both in-store and via their online store.

It has been recalled after reports that it may crack or break when filled with hot or warm liquid, posing a burn risk to users.

If you have this mug, you should immediately stop using it and return it to your nearest Tim Hortons restaurant location by April 22nd for a full refund.
