Have you spotted the massive purple and white circus tent at Mayfair?
It’s there because an international circus has arrived in Victoria and will be in town for nearly two weeks of fun and entertainment!
Circo Osorio Circus, a family-owned traveling show with performers from around the world, will set up its iconic striped tent in the Mayfair Shopping Centre parking lot from September 11th to 22nd.
The 90-minute show promises dazzling aerial acts, daring motorcycle stunts, funny clowns, and talented jugglers. It features a Latin-inspired spectacle that has delighted audiences on Vancouver Island for years.
The circus is run by the Osorio brothers, Francisco “Pancho,” Leoncio Enrique “Leo,” and Roberto Carlos “Rob.” They grew up in the circus world. Their parents, Herminio and Rosabelia Osorio, founded Circo Osorio Mexico.
The brothers have continued the family tradition while expanding their shows around the world. Since bringing their performances to Canada in 2017, they have become a popular choice for families looking for an affordable and memorable night out.
Organizers recommend buying tickets online ahead of time since shows often sell out. Families are encouraged to arrive about 30 minutes early to sit together and get settled.

- The show runs for 1.5 hours under the big top.
