West Shore RCMP are hoping the public can help identify a man who allegedly damaged a parked vehicle earlier this month in Langford.
According to police, the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. on April 6th near the 1000-block of Goldstream Avenue.
A driver had parked their white 2022 Toyota Venza when another man, who was driving a dark blue Toyota Tacoma, got out of his truck, walked over, and allegedly kicked the back of the Venza — causing damage to the car.
The two individuals are not known to each other, police said.
RCMP are treating the case as mischief under $5,000 and have released a description of the suspect they’re hoping someone will recognize.
He’s described as a Caucasian man with light brown hair and a medium build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black baseball cap with his hair flipping out from underneath it, a black hoodie with red checker marks down the right sleeve, black pants, and black shoes.
The man was last seen driving a dark blue Toyota Tacoma, which police have released an image of.

If you know who this person is or if you witnessed the incident and haven’t yet spoken to police, you’re asked to call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264. Tips can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers online or by calling 1-800-222-8477.
