West Shore RCMP are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage to further investigate a trailer theft that took place earlier this week.

Police say that at around 3:15 a.m. on March 4th, a large enclosed trailer was stolen  from where it was parked outside an industrial retail building in the 2600 block of Millstream Road.

The stolen trailer is black, completely enclosed, 26-feet long and eight-feet tall.

Thus far in the investigation, police have collected some video surveillance showing the suspect vehicle towing away the stolen trailer.

The suspect vehicle is described as a grey or silver mid-2000s 4-door truck, believed to be a Ford F-series pick-up truck.

West Shore RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect and suspect vehicle.

Anyone driving in the area of the theft on March 4th between the hours of 2:45 a.m. to 4 a.m. and has dashcam footage is asked to review it in case it captured the suspect on video.

To report information about this crime, contact West Shore RCMP at (250) 474-2264. Or, to report anonymously, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
