Oak Bay Police are investigating a case of alleged arson which took place early last week in a Carnarvon Park washroom.
Police say that around 12:27 p.m., they received word from the Oak Bay Fire Department that there had been a fire in the men’s washroom at the park.
The fire is believed to have taken place overnight, but wasn’t reported until the following day.
According to police, the blaze damaged a urinal, which needed to be replaced and will cost an estimated $1,500.
Currently, Oak Bay Police say they have no suspects in this incident, but it is being investigated as arson.
