Toot, toot—all aboard the Easter Eggspress where coloured eggs and treats are a-plenty!
If you’re looking for a fun, festive, and affordable way to spend Easter weekend with the family, the BC Forest Discovery Centre in Duncan has you covered.
The popular Easter Eggspress is back for another year of train rides, Easter goodies, crafts, and scavenger hunt fun for the kiddos.
Running Saturday, Sunday, and Easter Monday (April 19th, 20th, 21st) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Easter Eggspress gives visitors unlimited train rides throughout the day—a huge hit with kids and parents alike.
Plus, children who complete the Easter scavenger hunt will be rewarded with goodie bags packed with sweet surprises.
Admission is easy on the wallet, with tickets available only at the door—$8 for children aged 3 to 12 (2 and under get in free), $14 for adults, and $12 for youth and seniors.
There’s also a snack station on-site if you work up an appetite during the hunt or while crafting with the little ones.
The Easter Eggspress is more than just a fun seasonal outing—it also marks the kick-off to a full calendar of family-friendly events at the BC Forest Discovery Centre.
Coming up later this year are themed days for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Canada Day, and even Halloween and Christmas. If you’re a local, grabbing a low-cost annual family membership will score you free access to all of them.
With its mix of outdoor fun, interactive exhibits, and community vibes, the Centre is a must-visit destination this spring—and Easter weekend is a perfect time to check it out. Big thanks go out to the volunteers who help make these magical events happen.
