Atomic Vaudeville’s Spring Cabaret: We Three Feminists
Kicking off on Thursday, March 6th and running until Sunday, March 10th, We Three Feminists will take place at Metro Studio Theatre.
Promised to be an enthralling show in classic AV fashion, it will feature a signature blend of comedy, clown, social satire, and high-energy dance numbers.
The story follows three YouTubers who join forces and embark on a quest to become feminist.
Tickets to We Three Feminists are $38, and there are four-person VIP tables available for $200.

‘Crosstown’ at The Belfry
Anand Rajaram is an award-winning actor and playwright, and will be staring in Crosstown, a Toronto Fringe 2024 hit.
Adapted from the novel by Richard Scrimger, this play is told through two parallel narratives and addresses class, abortion, ambition and faulty memory.
The online tickets are nearly sold out, but you can show up an hour before the performances to purchase in-person tickets.

Busty and the Bass
Hailing from Montreal, Busty and the Bass has evolved from a university buzz band to one of Canada’s most dynamic live acts!
They’re a blend of soul, alternative r&b, hip-hop, and jazz, and will be taking over the stage at Capital Ballroom.

Victoria Royals vs. Spokane Chiefs
Bring your family and friends, grab yourself a beverage or two and a bite to eat and get ready to cheer on your local WHL hockey team, the Victoria Royals, as they play the Spokane Chiefs!
Saturday’s game is Trades Night, and the first 1000 fans will receive a rally towel, a job fair, vendors, face paint, bouncy castles and more.
The gates will open at 3:30 p.m.
Ticket prices vary by seat selection and they can be purchased online.

Cheers for Queers! Roper Romp Edition
Join the Sidney Pride Committee at Small Gods Brewing for their Cheers for Queers event!
For this gathering’s theme, wear your finest 70’s caftan or muumuus, decorate yourself in loud jewelry, beaded necklaces and honour the fabulous Mrs. Roper with a dance party.
Tickets are just over $33, and the funds will go towards Sidney’s Pride Festival in June. There will also be an online silent auction!

Comedy Night at Hecklers Bar and Grill
For this Saturday’s comedy night, Hecklers Bar and Grill is presenting Chris Locke!
The early show is sold out, but there are still tickets left for the late-night show at 10 p.m.—and who doesn’t love late-night comedy?

Festival of New Works 2025
The Canadian College of Performing Arts (CCPA) is hosting their Festival of New Works 2025 showcase!
Catch new works from a variety of disciplines such as music, dance and theatre—each created by CCPA students.

Sugar Shack Style Day
As a part of Franco Fest Victoria, they’re hosting a Sugar Shack day!
Immerse yourself in the high-energy, sugar shack atmosphere, complete with lumberjack competitions, musical performances, shows and sweet delights.
This event is free to attend and no reservation is required.

Brunch Comedy
OK, DOPE will be bringing Victoria residents a special Brunch Comedy show this Sunday!
The show is hosted by Nash Park at The Mint, and there will be a fabulous selection of food and drink specials, as well as some great laughs.

Drag Brunch at Vicious Poodle

The Mint Night Market
The Mint Night Market is back for their 6th edition!
As described, this market is a carnival of local creativity and flavors that will “tickle your taste buds and delight your eyes.”
Local vendors will showcase everything from pottery, prints, jewelry, vintage and upcycled clothing and more.
To elevate the evening, there will be live performances from Finley Rose, Shaginthebag and SAMSARA, EGO DESTROYER.

Taras Shevchenko Concert
On Sunday, March 9th, the halls of the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in Victoria will once again ring with the words of Ukraine’s national poet, Taras Shevchenko.
For the city’s Ukrainian community, this annual event is more than just a musical performance—it’s a powerful celebration of cultural heritage that resonates across generations.
University of Victoria’s Serhiy Yekelchyk, a professor of Slavic Studies, will also be at the concert, offering insights into Shevchenko’s lasting influence in a bilingual presentation.
Plus, the event will also feature three choirs—LUNA Ensemble, Kalyna Ukrainian Choir, and the Vinok Children’s Choir. Each represents different generations dedicated to preserving Ukrainian musical traditions.
Admission is just $10, and children and students are free.
