Looking for something to do this Friday night?
This Friday, September 4th, the City of Langford will be putting on a film at the famous Starlight Stadium in partnership with the South Island Primary Care Society (SIPCS).
SIPCS is a non-profit working to increase access to primary care across South Vancouver Island.
The event will function as a fundraiser for SIPCS, with proceeds going directly to the Goldstream Medical Clinic on Bryn Maur Road.
Disney Pixar’s GOAT will feature on the big screen.
The 2026 film stars Stephen Curry, Gabrielle Union and Caleb McLaughlin in a story about a small goat with big dreams who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball—a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world.
Gates will open to the event at 6 p.m., and the film will begin at 8:05 p.m., so be sure not to be late!
The event will also include live magic with Jason Verners, music and entertainment and a FortisBC station, as well as food, treats and refreshments.
Tickets start at $5, but attendees can choose to donate more if they’d like. Tickets can be purchased here.
Bring the family out to Starlight Stadium and enjoy a movie under the stars for a good cause!
