Highlights include Peter Pan on Ice, free kids’ admission at the Malahat SkyWalk, a ballet at Royal Theatre, an exhibition for International Day for Eliminating Racial Discrimination and more!

If you’re looking to dance, Capital Ballroom is hosting an internationally known DJ and the legendary Beach Boys will be playing at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Peter Pan on Ice 

Get ready for an enchanting adventure as the Racquet Club of Victoria presents Peter Pan on Ice!

This spectacular performance will bring the classic story of the boy who never grows up to life in a way you’ve never seen before.

Featuring jaw-dropping performances by National Ice Dancers alongside talented skaters from the Racquet Club of Victoria, this show promises to be an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Victoria Paleontology Society: Fossil Festival

Dinosaur and fossil lovers, this is for you!

From Saturday, March 22nd to Sunday, March 23rd, the Victoria Paleontology Society will be hosting a Fossil Festival.

If you’ve been lucky enough to find fossils in BC, bring it by for them to be identified! There will also be a scavenger hunt with prizes and colouring pages.

10th Cracks in the Concrete Conference

Hosted by Coastal Research, Education, and Advocacy Network (CREAN), the 10th annual Cracks in the Concrete conference will take place from Friday, March 21st to Sunday, March 23rd.

This year, they’ll be exploring the theme Beneath the Surface: Illuminating Visible & Invisible Disabilities.

The aim is to shed light on the voices and experiences of individuals living with visible and invisible disabilities—particularly people of colour, who are often left out of disability discourse.

This event is free to attend, but they do accept donations.

60th Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition

The Royal BC Museum is once again rolling out the red carpet for one of the world’s most celebrated photography exhibitions: Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

The exhibit kicked off on February 14th and runs until April 27th, showcasing over 100 breathtaking new images—each one a testament to the awe-inspiring beauty of the natural world.

Highlighted amongst the collection includes “The Swarm of Life” by Vancouver Island’s own Shane Gross, this year’s Adult Grand Title Winner.

Go Watch “The Island Between Tides”

Vancouver-based filmmakers Austin Andrews and Andrew Holmes’ film The Island Between Tides opened at The Roxy Theatre on Friday, March 21st and will play for a week!

The story is about a young woman who follows a mysterious melody onto a remote tidal island. When she crosses back over at the next low tide, she emerges into a world where 25 years have passed.

General admission tickets are just over $12, and the showtimes vary throughout its run.

Black History Beyond February Pop-Up Series

Join the AACCCS-Issamba Centre at Mayfair Shopping Centre for a special exhibit!

This Canadian Black History exhibit is in commemoration of the International Day for Eliminating Racial Discrimination, aimed at fostering education, reflection, and action in the fight against racism and discrimination.

Admission to this event is free.

Carmina Burana at Royal Theatre

Described as “exhilarating” and a “visual spectacle,” Ballet Victoria presents, Carmina Burana from March 21st to 23rd.

It will play at Royal Theatre, featuring Carl Orff’s epic score, live music, and the emotionally charged voices of the Victoria Choral Society, all under Brian Wismath’s take on Destrooper’s masterpiece.

Bass Coast Pre-Party ft. The Librarian

Don’t miss this Bass Coast pre-party, featuring DJ The Librarian!

The Librarian, Andrea Graham, is a celebrated Canadian DJ producer and curator, and she is the co-founder and music director of Bass Coast Music Festival.

The Beach Boys in Victoria 

The Beach Boys will officially launch their “Endless Summer Gold” tour at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre this Saturday, March 22nd.

As described, this band has birthed a torrent of hit singles and sold albums by the tens of millions, and has forever changed the musical landscape.

Ticket prices vary by seat selection, and there aren’t many left, so don’t wait!

Retromania: Pulp Fiction

Don’t miss Vic Theatre’s Pacific Noir Retromania special showing of Pulp Fiction!

Described to be Quentin Tarantino’s most iconic film, the 1994 classic is busting at the seams with memorable scenes, and features a star-packed ensemble cast: John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel and Ving Rhames.

Paper Street Theatre: Improv Cabaret
