Don’t miss your chance to see a legendary rock n’ roll band in concert!
Bachman Turner-Overdrive (BTO), the band behind worldwide hits such as “Takin’ Care of Business” and “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet”, have announced a cross-country tour, and Victoria is on the list!
Their tour, titled Back in Overdrive, will land in Victoria on April 1st 2025 at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, with special guests multi-platinum April Wine and Headpins opening for them.
Returning brother and lead of the band, Randy Bachman, revived BTO last year and was recently nominated to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame!
BTO’s latest lineup also includes Bachman’s son, Tal Bachman. So, with Randy’s legendary guitar and Tal’s contemporary flair, they’re ready to bring audiences their classic hits with a fresh energy.
Plus, on bass and vocals, one of the original members, Fred Turner, will be playing on select dates.
Tickets will officially be up for grabs as of Friday, November 8th—so be ready to jump on your opportunity to see them live.
“The BTO legacy lives on, promising unforgettable performances and a continued impact on the ever-evolving rock landscape,” a media release reads.
BTO was founded by the three Bachman brothers: Randy (lead guitar and lead vocals), Robbie (drums and backing vocals), and Tim Bachman (guitar and vocals); along with Fred Turner (bass and lead vocals) in 1973.
They went on hiatus in 2005 before Randy Bachman and Fred Turner reunited in 2009 to tour and collaborate on a new album. The two stopped touring once Turner retired in March 2018.
A couple of special performances followed, scattered throughout the 2010s. Then in 2023, two of the brothers, Robbie and Tim, passed away.
They have six certified platinum albums and one certified gold album in Canada, and in the US they have five certified gold albums and one certified platinum album.
The band has sold around 30 million albums worldwide and the fans are known as the ‘gearheads’.
