Get ready to dance, Victoria!

Point Pop-Up, a free pop-up party at Victoria’s beautiful Ship Point will be taking place from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. this Friday, May 22nd.

Put together by Victoria party organizers LampPost Social, RUSH (Rhythm You Should Hear) and Public Assembly, this impromptu shin-dig is going to get bodies moving to the beats in Victoria’s gorgeous Inner Harbour all evening.

The event is done in partnership with the Downtown Victoria Business Association.

The organizers have been making noise in the Victoria event community recently, with LampPost Social being one of the organizations helping to bring the beloved FernFest back to Fernwood this June.

The pop-up is free to attend, and will feature some of Victoria’s premier food and drink vendors, including Cold Comfort serving up ice cream and Vagabond Pies providing pizza.

Victoria Beer Society will offer the alcoholic beverages, and Softer Drink will be there to serve up non-alcoholic options for the sober partiers.

The music will be put on by Victoria DJ lilweeezie and Calgary-based DJ Lorne Burlington.

With an end time at dusk, this event will conclude with a stunning sunset finale. Perfect for those wanting to start their night with a bang or for those of us who like to get our dancing out early and be in bed at a reasonable hour.

Get down to Ship Point this Friday for a night of dancing as the sun sets on the beautiful Ship Point!
