According to the latest weather records in Victoria, Friday’s temperature was the coldest May 24th in over a century.

With a high of 11.6°C, it was the coldest day since 1919—according to the Gonzales weather station.

As we head into the final week of May, temperatures are expected to increase, reaching highs of 18°C.

While most of the week is slated to see clouds and rain, sunshine is forecast for at least two days, Thursday and Friday, with a bit of sun peeking out on Wednesday.

So, while the baseboard heaters might still need to be cranked up, things are gradually warming, just not fast enough.
