If you’re one of the many people in Greater Victoria who will be using BC Transit today, you’ll be pleased to know that your bus ride will be on the house.

On Wednesday, June 2nd, BC Transit is offering free bus rides to mark Clean Air Day as well as Bike to Work Week.

Victorians can ride the bus for free all day today, which marks Clean Air Day, with no fare required.

Additionally, cyclists can ride free during Bike to Work Week, happening May 31st to June 6th. To take part, cyclists must use the bike racks on the front of the bus, or alternatively, show their bike helmet when boarding the bus.

Keep in mind masks are still mandatory aboard all BC Transit buses, and physical distancing and capacity limits are still in place.

Happy bus riding!
