Saanich Police are currently investigating a sexual assault that occurred shortly after midnight on Friday (July 18th). The incident happened in the 3600 block of Quadra St, between Falmouth Road and Tattersall Drive in Saanich.
A Saanich woman, in her early 20’s, was walking on the west side of Quadra St. when she was grabbed from behind and forced into a nearby yard. The woman sustained minor injuries. She is working with Detectives and was able to provide the following description of her attacker:
- Male
- Approx 5’10” to 6’0 tall
- 25-45 years old
- Wearing all black clothing
- His face was covered
- Wearing a brimmed hat
