Got a spare few million dollars lying around? You might be able to afford a new place in downtown Victoria.
As showcased on our Instagram story today, a new luxury development is coming to the city’s inner harbour.
Cielo Properties, along with a team of architects and designers, will revitalize one of Victoria’s landmark buildings: the Customs House.
Some of the most expensive real estate in Victoria
Originally built in 1898 as a post office, the Customs House will be transformed into a set of 57 residences. Ranging from 1,450 sq.ft. to 4,400 sq.ft., the units will be some of the most expensive real estate ever sold in Victoria.
Stan Sipos, the founder of Cielo Properties, said that so far they’ve pre-sold “a little over a third” of their units.
At up to $10 million per unit, the residences cost a pretty penny. However, Sipos said they’d received interest from across the globe, from New Zealand to New York.
