It’s October, and that means the return of pumpkin spice, thanksgiving, and haunted houses!
Specifically, Monsters Haunted House: Fear on the Pier, which is back for another year to scare Victorians at Ogden Point.
Starting on Thursday, October 12, Fear on the Pier will run Sunday thru Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Fridays, Saturdays, and Halloween from 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
“We are designed for the big kids,” said Fear on the Pier organizer Randall Carnell. “The quality of the actors, the set dressing, and the design this year is really good, especially for Dead City.”
Double Trouble
“This year we have two attractions,” said Carnell. “A lot of people love the Darkness Maze, [which] uses all of your senses except for your eyes, just like the name entails… The other [attraction], Dead City, that’s more visual. That’s where you can see the actors and the costumes and the detailed sets.”
“Dead City isn’t quite as ‘rock em, shock em’ but there is lots of new stuff to see. There’s definitely some comedy… there will be some laughs, but scares as well,” he added.
Tickets for one attraction are $15 or $20 for both.
Donations will also be collected for the Mustard Seed Food Bank!
