Happy Tuesday Victoria! At least it isn’t Monday!

The forecast might be a little dreary this week, but there’s plenty of things going on to be excited about.

Catch some live music at Brydon Park or The Mint, make your own at Early Bird Karaoke, watch the HarbourCats take on Port Angeles or do your body some good with yoga in the park.

Here are 5 things to do in and around Victoria this Tuesday, July 28th:

Folk, Fuzz and Twang at the Mint

Head down to The Mint for a night of live music with some of Victoria’s favourite groups!

Folk, Fuzz and Twang will give listeners a taste of folk music, alt-country and rockabilly music by Jane And The Saints, Dogwood and the Shakers and Long Cool Cowgirl.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here.

Music in the Park at Brydon Park

Head down to Brydon Park and join your neighbours to enjoy some music, food and fun.

Food is available for purchase, or bring your own for a picnic!

The Sutcliffes will be playing everyone’s favourite Beatles tunes.

This event is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

Early Bird Karaoke with The Other Guise Theatre Society at The Scene 

Join the Other Guise Theatre Society for a night of music and community!

The event will be happening at The Scene, a new venue in Victoria that’s trying to put their stamp on the city.

Early Bird Karaoke is everyone’s favourite social activity at a reasonable price and early enough to get home for a good night’s sleep.

This event is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

  • When: Tuesday, July 28th – 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Yoga in the Park at Willows Beach Park

Head down to Yoga in the Park at Willows Beach Park!

Get involved in the community and experience the benefits of outdoor yoga. What’s not to love?

These free, all-levels classes take place every Tuesday and are led by experienced instructors.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

  • When: Tuesday, July 28th – 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Port Angeles Lefties versus the Victoria HarbourCats at Royal Athletic Park

It’s $12 Tuesdays!

Watch the Victoria HarbourCats take on the Port Angeles Lefties at Wilson’s Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park and get any premium seating for only $12.

The HarbourCats are currently 23-22 in the standings, with the Lefties sitting at the bottom of the division standings.

Help the HarbourCats get a much needed win as the season nears the halfway mark.
