Food Network seeking Vancouver Island amateur chefs for dinner party showcase

Share

Canada’s Food Network is seeking five amateur chefs on Vancouver Island for an upcoming episode of Come Dine with Me Canada.

The series is a showcase of Canadian dinner parties, where each featured chef must host a dinner party in their home, showing off their culinary skills and impressing their fellow contestants.

After each dinner party, the chefs will rate each others’ dishes and the highest score at the end of the week will win a cash prize of $1,000 for their efforts.

Host Jamie Carr provides an element of comedic relief through the week for the chefs through his sarcastic tone of narration.

Come Dine with Me Canada premiered in 2010, after being adapted from a British program.

Those interested in appearing as a chef on Come Dine with Me Canada’s Vancouver Island showcase must be at least 19-years-old, be available for filming between August and October of this year and be able to commit to two full days and four consecutive evenings of filming.

Once completed, the episode of Come Dine with Me Canada will air on Food Network and Citytv+ in sometime before the end of 2025.

The Food Network says that more details will be shared in the coming months.
