The parking lot of a downtown Victoria McDonald’s is cordoned off this morning following an early morning assault that left one person hospitalized.
According to VicPD, officers were called to the 900-block of Pandora Avenue around 5:45 a.m. for a reported assault in progress.
Police say a male suspect allegedly kicked another man in the face.

The suspect was taken into custody, while the victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing, and further details have yet to be released.
