Ready for some monster truck madness, Victoria?
Monster trucks, motor bikes and more will once again be taking over the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre for two mayhem-fill days this January.
On Saturday, January 16th and Sunday, January 17th, Motorsports Spectacular will roll into Victoria as a part of its 40th anniversary tour.
The events have become extremely popular in Victoria, with several events typically taking place at the stadium every year and thousands attending.
The trucks and bikes are particularly popular with families, and perfect for the little ones who cannot seem to get enough of all things on wheels.
This winter, the show will bring 600 tonnes of dirt into the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, along with 30 staff who will spend approximately 36 hours setting the stage for the enjoyment of Victoria motorsports enthusiasts.
The event will feature monster truck car crushing, racing, wheelie contests and freestyle, plus high-flying motocross action, mini monsters and more.
The average monster truck vehicle in the show weighs between 10,000 and 12,000 pounds and generates more than 15,000 horsepower.
These shows will feature some of the company’s heavy hitters, including Rockstar, Reverse Racer, Mixed Up, Spitfire and Identity Theft.
The event will feature two shows on Saturday, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., as well as a 1 p.m. show on Sunday.
Attendees should be aware the monster truck show can get quite loud, so hearing protection may be a good idea, particularly for young children.
Tickets are set to go on sale on Friday, October 9th at 10 a.m., and can be purchased by clicking here.
