VicPD seeks witnesses and footage of hit-and-run between cyclist and dark SUV

VicPD are reaching out to the community, asking for video footage and for witnesses to come forward in connection to a recent hit-and-run incident.

The collision involved a cyclist being struck by a vehicle. 

According to police, the incident occurred in the 1000 block of Caledonia Avenue at around 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14th.

The cyclist was travelling west on Caledonia and was reportedly struck by a dark SUV. 

According to reports, the male driver did not remain at the scene and was last seen driving west on Caledonia Avenue.  

Police say the cyclist was transported to hospital due to their non-life-threatening injuries.  

No additional information has been shared by VicPD at this time. 

Anyone with information or dash cam footage who has not yet spoken with investigators is asked to contact VicPD at (250) 995-7654, citing file number 26-29159.
