Three people were injured and two suspects, including a youth, were arrested following an assault with a weapon near Beacon Hill Park on Friday night.
The incident happened just after 10 p.m. on July 3rd near Dallas Road, where officers responded to reports of a confrontation involving multiple people, according to the VicPD.
Police said three people suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Two of the injured were taken to hospital for treatment and have since been released.
Officers arrested two people at the scene.
Police said neither of those arrested was among the injured. One of the suspects is a youth, and both remain in custody.
The investigation has been taken over by VicPD’s Major Crime Unit, which is in the early stages of determining what led to the incident.
