This brand new peony festival is coming to downtown Victoria

Flower lovers, we’ve got an announcement for you!

This spring, downtown Victoria will come into full bloom as the brand new Peony Festival makes its debut.

The festival will be an immersive, art-forward celebration of one of the season’s most beloved (and fleeting) flowers.

Taking place from May 28th to 30th at The Atrium, Peony Festival invites guests to step into a vibrant floral market with over 7,000 fresh peonies.

The festival will feature floral installations and allow attendees to pick their own blooms to bring home.

Organizers say it will bring a sense of beauty, creativity and joy to the heart of ‘Garden City.’

The festival opens with A Night in Bloom, a cocktail-style launch party on May 28th, featuring a live DJ, floral-inspired drinks and bites and an upbeat, design-forward atmosphere.

The festival’s pop-up peony market on May 29th and 30th will feature interactive photo displays and an opportunity for guests to curate their own bunch of peonies to bring home from the garden display.

Dreamt up by the teams at Poppies Floral Art, Ripple Events and Bespoke Blossoms, the Peony Festival was created to re-imagine how people gather and provide a new experience-based event in Victoria.

For more information and to purchase tickets for A Night in Bloom or to reserve peony bunches, head to the Peony Festival website here.
