The Spirit of Christmas Kickoff

Step into the magic of Christmas and the season of giving!

Head to Tillicum Centre on Saturday, November 29th for festive cookie decorating, Christmas crafts, and Santa photos, which are available by a $5 donation.

All proceeds go to Saanich Neighbourhood Place!

43rd Peninsula Co-op Santa Claus Parade

Victoria’s iconic holiday parade hits the streets on Saturday, November 29th, starting at Belleville Street and Government Street at 5:30 p.m.

With parade floats featuring iconic Christmas characters, like Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer and of course, Mr. and Mrs. Claus themselves, it’s a night of family fun you won’t want to miss.

Lights of Wonder Opening Ceremony at Centennial Square

Victoria’s beloved Lights of Wonder is back this Saturday, November 29th, and ready to fill downtown with holiday cheer!

After the Santa Parade, watch Centennial Square transform into a winter wonderland and enjoy live music, food trucks, and even festive photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

It’ll be a fabulous holiday evening!

Holiday Craft Fair

A festive community craft fair celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and holiday spirit!

Plus, a Silent Auction, featuring unique items and experiences donated by local businesses and family! All proceeds support ArtsCalibre Academy.

Quadra Village Holiday Market 

Celebrate the holiday spirit at the Quadra Village Holiday Market!

Entry is by donation, and all proceeds go toward the CREW Youth Program!

After shopping, you can also enjoy delicious food from the International Women’s Catering Co-op!

Winter Bazaar at the Gorge Park Pavilion

Bastion Square Christmas Village

On Saturday, you can start your day at Bastion Square with some local shopping, live entertainment, and hot cocoa before grabbing your perfect viewing spot for the 43rd Annual Peninsula Co-op Santa Claus Parade!

Metchosin Christmas Market

Metchosin Christmas Spirit Market is hosting two days of holiday cheer! 

This free market with hourly prize draws has over 60 vendors attending across the weekend—you won’t want to miss it!

Victoria Royals vs Seattle Thunderbirds 

Watch the final game of this epic doubleheader on Sunday, November 30th at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, and join the Royals for a post-game skate!

The post-game skate is included with your ticket at no extra cost. Fans are encouraged to bring their own skates and helmets, which can be stored under their seats during the game.

Oak Bay Light Up 

Oak Bay will kick off the holiday season with its 25th annual Light Up extravaganza this weekend along Oak Bay Avenue.

The festivities begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 30th, bringing the streets to life with family-fun activities, including street hockey, craft stations, food trucks, and even a hula hooping area.

There will also be roasted chestnuts, a letters-to-Santa writing station, and a Christmas market featuring an array of goodies.

Plus, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving in style on an Oak Bay firetruck!

Festival of Trees Victoria

The Bay Centre’s annual Festival of Trees is back! 

From decorated Christmas trees to twinkling lights hanging overhead, stepping into the Bay Centre suddenly feels like walking into a winter wonderland. 

Each tree, sponsored by a local business, is uniquely decorated to reflect its sponsor’s brand and personality. This beloved tradition also allows these organizations to give back. 

All tree sponsorships support the BC Children’s Hospital, helping local organizations make a difference this holiday season. 

Head over to the Bay Centre this weekend and see if you can spot our tree!
