Nearly 47,000 passengers expected as cruise season continues in Victoria

Victoria’s Ogden Point will see a steady stream of visitors this week with 15 ships scheduled to arrive, bringing a combined 46,890 passengers.

Among the arrivals is Anthem of the Seas, one of the largest ships to call at Victoria this season. Operated by Royal Caribbean, the vessel can carry nearly 5,000 passengers and features attractions such as a skydiving simulator, robotic bartenders, and a 360-degree observation capsule that lifts guests high above the water.

The busiest days will be Thursday through Saturday, when three ships are scheduled each day.

Monday, September 8th

• Riviera (Oceania Cruises) – 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. | 1,328 passengers
• Carnival Spirit (Carnival Cruise Lines) – 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. | 2,124 passengers
