This week’s weather in Greater Victoria will bring lots of rain and cloudy days.
According to Environment Canada, the week will start out with sporadic rain, then clear up slightly before more rain descends on the region just before the weekend.
On Monday, September 29th, Victoria’s forecast calls for periods of rain, ending around noon, then cloudy conditions for the remainder of the day. The high is predicted to reach only 16°C. Overnight, Environment Canada predicts a 40% chance of drizzle and a low of 11°C.
On Tuesday, which marks National Day for Truth and Reconciliation across Canada, the 40% chance of drizzle or rain is predicted to continue throughout the daytime and overnight. The high is predicted to reach 15°C and the overnight low will be around 11°C.
A slight reprieve from the rain of the early week is expected for Wednesday, with Environment Canada calling for a mix of sun and cloud throughout the day. The high will reach up to 15°C, and once again, the low will be around 11°C.
On Thursday, the forecast is calling for more showers in the Greater Victoria region, with a daytime high of just 14°C. Overnight, conditions call for 60% chance of showers and a low of 10°C.
Friday’s forecast predicts another 60% chance of showers with a high of 15°C and an overnight low dipping down to 8°C.
As of this publication, Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and clouds on Saturday and Sunday, with highs around 16°C.
