West Shore RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance locating and identifying three suspects who allegedly robbed and attacked a lone victim on the E&N Regional Trail in broad daylight.
Police say the robbery is reported to have taken place on Wednesday, March 19th between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. on the E&N, between Peatt Road and Veteran’s Memorial Parkway— just behind Darcy’s Pub in Langford.
The male victim reported to be walking alone along this trail when three suspects approached him and allegedly assaulted him before robbing him of his personal belongings, including a backpack.
The victim told police that one of the suspects brandished a knife during the assault.
Police are now canvassing the area for evidence and surveillance footage.
The following are suspect descriptions provided by West Shore RCMP investigators:
The first suspect is described as a Caucasian man standing approximately six feet tall, weighing between 180 and 200 pounds, with curly light brown hair and a scruffy mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, black sweater, blue jeans.
The second suspect is described as also being a Caucasian man in his early 20s, standing around 5’8” tall and wearing all black with a black baseball cap with the letters “LA” written on it.
The third suspect is described as another Caucasian man, but in his 30s, standing approximately 5’8” tall with a small goatee, wearing a sweater with the words “crooks and castle”, steel toe boots and blue jeans.
The alleged robbery occurred on Saturday, March 19th, but was not reported to police until Monday, March 24th.
