Sidney/North Saanich RCMP have released a surveillance photo of a bank roberry suspect that occured on Monday.
On March 24th, at approximately 2:05 p.m., police received a report of a bank robbery which occurred at the Scotiabank located at 2355 Beacon Avenue.
According to a media release, the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, and produced a note which demanded cash.

The suspect then exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen on foot southbound from the bank towards Bevan Avenue.
Police are now seeking the public’s help and are appealing to the public for information.
The bank was closed for the remained of the day as RCMP investigated the robbery but has since reopened.
Sidney/North Saanich RCMP responded to the area with the assistance, Central Saanich Police Service and the RCMP Police Dog Service, however the suspect was not located.
