60th Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition
The Royal BC Museum is once again rolling out the red carpet for one of the world’s most celebrated photography exhibitions: Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
The exhibit kicked off on February 14th and runs until April 27th, showcasing over 100 breathtaking new images—each one a testament to the awe-inspiring beauty of the natural world.
Highlighted amongst the collection includes “The Swarm of Life” by Vancouver Island’s own Shane Gross, this year’s Adult Grand Title Winner.

Kids Visit Free at Malahat SkyWalk

The Funeral Plot – Mini-Play
Written by Nicholas Guerreiro and held at The Belfry Theatre, this story follows João and Maria, who have been married since they left Portugal 50 years prior.
But when a disagreement about their burial plot escalates, they find a new, and potentially dangerous, way to express their love.
Based on his real Portuguese grandparents and their real Portuguese arguments, Guerrerio’s short play, directed by his brother Aidan, is a poignant celebration of joy even in the face of death.
Tickets are free! Just Check-in at the miniplay table in the lobby and the performers will take you to their venue if there are spots available.

Banachek the Mind Reader
Join the crew at McPherson Playhouse for an evening of magic and mystery with Las Vegas mentalist Banachek!
As described, he’s known as the world’s greatest mind reader and has performed on major TV shows such as CNN Live, the Today Show, and hundreds of smaller appearances on TV shows.
He has also appeared on and produced over 100 TV shows for Criss Angel.
Ticket prices vary by seat selection but start at $43.25.

Annual Downtown Cleanup
The Clean Up Victoria Society is gearing up for its annual downtown clean-Up event, happening on Saturday, March 15th, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Centennial Square.
The event will see volunteers hitting the streets of downtown to collect litter and spruce up the area. Downtown businesses are providing essential supplies like gloves and trash bags to make sure the event runs smoothly.
And don’t worry—safety is a priority. Volunteers will receive a quick briefing on safety, including how to properly handle hazardous materials, and a licensed first aid attendant will be on-site just in case.
If you’re ready to pitch in, all you have to do is show up! For those who want to RSVP or learn more, head to Clean Up Victoria Society’s website.

If you’re looking for a night filled with funky beats and futuristic vibes, this one-night-only dance party is sure to deliver!

Five Alarm Funk
With 20 years of experience in high voltage funk infusion, Five Alarm Funk is a must see, and they’ll be playing at Capital Ballroom this weekend!

The Pacific FC team will be hosting a Kickoff Party at Market Square this Sunday!
