Nanaimo RCMP are seeking the public’s help in identifying a deceased woman found last Friday.
In a media release, police said they received a call around 3 p.m. on February 14th from Lantzville Fire Rescue after a woman’s body was discovered on a beach.
The deceased, believed to be between 50 and 60 years old, had short, wavy grey hair and was wearing black running shoes, tights, and a grey sweatshirt.
No other details have been released.
Nanaimo RCMP are working closely with the BC Coroners Service to identify the woman and are asking anyone with information to call the non-emergency line at (250) 754-2345, referencing file 25-4361.
