Victoria can look forward to a week of little to no rain in latest weather update

Victorians can look forward to sunny days with little to no rain over the weekend and throughout next week. 

Beginning on Saturday, January 11th, there is no rain in the forecast all week long, with every day predicted as being sunny with a bit of clouds. 

As for temperatures, winter is still looming over Victoria with highs ranging from between 6°C and 9°C.

Meanwhile, overnight lows will be between 1°C and 2°C. 

This winter so far has seen no snowfall in Victoria, while heavy rains have been frequent, with a bomb cyclone and a couple atmospheric rivers hitting the region. 

Historically around this time, the average temperature has been around 6.6°C. 

The highest recorded temperature in that timeframe has been 12.7°C in 1996, while the lowest recorded temperature was -8.3°C, in 1949. 

The most rainfall recorded in a single day was 25.4 millimetres, which occurred in 1999, while the most snow Victoria received was in 1980, when the region saw 6.3 centimetres of snow. 

So things are looking pretty good this year in comparison, weather-wise.
